It had been about 8 years since Maxwell's last album, and in 2009 he made his big come back!!! He released a new album "BLACKsummers'night" in July 2009 and it looks like Maxwell has picked up where he left off. He was nominated for 6 Grammy Awards, and took home 2 for Best Male R&B Vocal and Best R&B Album.
